The first member of our project isa popular singer, composer and producer of the Romanian-Moldovan origin Dan Balan.

In the the 90's Dan assembled his first band, which played in the gothic-doom metal. Balan responsible for the keyboards and composing music. The group became very popular in the underground environment in Moldova.

But the real success came to the singer in 1999 when he organized a trio O-Zone, performing music in the style of eurodans. Dan played a key role in the group, wrote and produced all songs. And it is largely thanks to his perseverance and talent of their single "Dragostea din Tei" (also known as "Numa Numa song") boomed in the world.

A real "ozonomania": for "Numa Numa song" where made more than 200 cover versions in 14 languages worldwide. The best-selling LP was "DiscOzone", which climbed to the top of the charts in 6 countries and sold more than 3,5 million copies.

The song "Dragostea din Tei" did not leave anybody indifferent, even stars such as TI and Rihanna, used it in their song "Live Your Life" (2008), which became a super hit in the U.S. and stayed 6 weeks at number one in Billboard Hot 100 .
